For this year 2016 I decided to try (yes I said try) to start again to write English translations of my articles 🙂 It will be tough, but I will try to come up with some English article each two weeks! It will be good for me to practice my English writing like this, and in this way I will maybe expand my English speaker followers 😉
So, let’s start with some music! Aaaah music! One of my biggest passion and inspiration
Usually, If I throw myself in the writing process of a new musical article about a band or an album I will never stop to write :p That’s why I decided to try to write small musical articles according the same pattern. Anyway, I would like to be quickest, in the same time providing interesting information and of course with a good criticism, those are my goals 🙂
Let’s start with the first eponym album of the band Richards/Crane!

Ok, alors c’est parti !!!
Cette semaine nous allons continuer un chapitre que nous avions débuté avec le premier article de cette catégorie, à savoir Black Light Burns !!!
Et oui, le groupe de Mr. Wes Borland, le seul, le vrai, l’unique est de retour dans la catégorie « Vidéo de la semaine » pour aborder le second chapitre de son œuvre solo, le second album de Black Light Burns, The moment you realize you’re going to fall.
Après un premier album bluffant, j’étais particulièrement impatient de pouvoir m’attaquer à un second album, toutefois, la première écoute fut choquante. Passant d’un style relativement très influencé par Nine Inch Nails, le second album est très clairement le vrai premier album de Black Light Burns, c’est-à-dire le premier album totalement sorti de l’esprit troublé et créatif de Wes Borland.
Une œuvre personnelle, impressionnante, choquante, entrainante, qui fait vaciller pendant les premier instants, et rend addict après quelques écoutes.
Comme on dit si souvent, les albums les plus difficiles à appréhender sont généralement les meilleurs !
Dans un premier temps j’ai réellement détesté cet album. Je me suis dit « Mais qu’est-ce que c’est que ce truc bruitiste, sans cohérence », mais après quelques semaines je me suis repenché dessus. Je me suis laissé emporter par ce style très personnel de Wes, un mélange de rock, de punk, de métal avec une folie indéniable dans chaque chanson.
Et j’ai fini par appréhender tout cela pas à pas. Cela n’a pas été facile, mais partant d’une déception énorme face à cet album, je me suis rendu compte qu’il fallait seulement persévérer pour en déceler les particularités. Maintenant, nous me croiraient ou pas, mais le deuxième album de Black Light Burns « The moment you realize you’re going to fall » est devenu un de mes album préféré et je dois quasiment l’écouter une fois par mois.
C’est un exemple de créativité personnel, où Wes n’as cherché qu’une chose. Créer quelque chose qu’il aime sans se poser de question, sans se demander si les autres aimeraient. On sent qu’il a fait cet album pour lui, et je l’en remercie. J’attends le troisième avec impatience, espérons que Wes Borland ne traine pas trop longtemps avec Limp Bizkit, car même si leur reformation est particulièrement de bonne qualité (et oui j’ai dit ça !) cela ne sera jamais équivalent à Black Light Burns !
Le clip qui suit est en fait la réunion de deux clips réalisés pour ce second album. Le Chapitre 1 tiré de la chanson « The moment you realize you’re going to fall » et le Chapitre 2 tiré de la chanson « How to look naked ».
C’est deux clip ne font qu’un car ils racontent une seul histoire, comme tout l’album d’ailleurs.
Alors maintenant c’est le moment, cliquez sur « PLAY » et laissez-nous emporter dans le monde de Black Light Burns, vous allez adorez ! Et n’hésitez pas pour foncer vous procurer l’album entier, il vaut le détour, c’est une pièce maitresse du monde actuel du Rock !

Everytime I listen Nine Inch Nails and the voice of Trent Reznor I have goosebumps, I’m really a big fan of this band, and I could say that it’s one of my favorite band !
This show is really amazing, with an incredible production (crazy light effects) and we can find all songs we know with some new like copy of A in introduction (great moment), march of the pigs, piggy, all time low, disapointed, come back haunted, sanctified (an old one really cool and rearranged), in two, the big come down, the hand that feeds one of my favorite, head like a hole, hurt…
I hope I could see them again one day !
Love this band and all there songs ! Long life to them 🙂
